End of stalemate: Indians fully vaccinated with Covishield won't have to quarantine from October 11

People vaccinated with WHO-approved Covishield in India will from next Monday (Oct 11) not be required to undergo the mandatory 10-day quarantine on arrival in the UK. Britain has finally relented, ending a long and bitter standoff between the two countries that saw India retaliate by imposing same measures simultaneously from this Monday (Oct 4).
