UK set to curb nurses' strike after union does not defend legal action

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has called a 48-hour strike from April 30, however, Britain's health department says that industrial action on May 2 would be unlawful, as the RCN's ballot for the strike closed on Nov. 2 last year – a decision that amounts to a "significant U-turn".
